Host, Psychic Medium & Children Books AuthorGina Ann, a Para Education specialist based in California has been teaching children from pre-school to high school for over 17 years in the concentrated areas of academics, physical, and special education.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Gina grew up in Aledo, Texas; frolicking as a child on sixty acres of untouched land where she engaged with her “pet” alligator, Charlie. As he lay at the edge of the pond, she would call out to him as she fed him crusts of bread. He would usually inch his way closer and watch young Gina as she wrote poetry and dreamed of her future.
Her imagination continued to blossom and transpire as she became a Mom and teacher. More characters evolved and have now come to life through her original and inspiring books. She realized early on that she needed to put children first. Ms. Ann continues to help forge new paths for children suffering with spectrum autism, cerebral palsy, transgender, cancer and children who have been sexually abused.
Her debut book, oh no jojo is the first in a trio of books that work to enlighten and engage children in a hyper-stimulated society that sometimes forgets to stop and take heed. Gina says, “Children are our hope; our real fairy angels. Without them, the world wouldn’t soar. I’m grateful to my two children, Christopher and Megan, who together have helped me navigate everything in my life. They’re my inspiration, along with the many beautiful children I’ve connected with over the years.”
Recently, Ms. Ann visited St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Tennessee, she was honored to read and sing along with the beautiful children there; gaining the wisdom that divine teaching will always help shift children into joy even while enduring hurt and pain.
Her sophomore book, jojo and bayou billyfrog, due out March 2017 exposes Billy as the bully who taunts jojo by trying to overpower and control her.
Her third book in the series, jojo meets cristo (the bat) is set for release Spring 2017; it teaches children how to help each other and lets them know they’re not alone in the world.
