He draws on a vast knowledge of contemporary cinema and is informed by pop culture. Wes rates by a four-tier scale: nope, whatever, all right, and totally. His favorite movie of all time: Back to the Future (1985).
Iris is the little sister. She’s a busy, working mom of two and, by necessity, selective about what she watches. A film school grad, she can appreciate craft as much as story. But, she doesn’t take an academic approach to rating; to her a movie is either good or boring. Her favorite movie of all time: Titanic (1997) or The Hangover(2009), depending on the day.
